Chief Rabbi Isaac Herzog of Palestine was received here today by Alexander C. Kirk, American Ambassador to Italy.
In the evening a banquet, presided over by David Prato, Chief Rabbi of Rome, was given in Rabbi Herzog’s honor. Among those attending were Vittorio Orlando, one of the “Big Four” at the Versailles Peace Conference and now a candidate for the presidency of the Italian parliament, and several members of the Italian cabinet.
