Rabbi Jacob Sonderling, former chief rabbi of the German armies during the war, spoke here under the auspices of the local Hadassah groups. Rabbi Sonderling warned the audience that Jews must cease being dreamers and become doers. “They must prove through the medium of Palestine that they can go back to the soil and can produce what they preach,” Rabbi Sonderling declared.
