Rabbi Jesse Schwartz, director of the Canadian Zionist Organization, who was active also in many other Zionist groups, died here today at the age of 71. He had headed the United Palestine Appeal in Canada from 1932 to 1959. A graduate of New York City College and the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, he was ordained in 1925. He occupied pulpits in Toronto and Minneapolis.
