Rabbi Joseph Zvi Dushinsky, chief rabbi of the Agudas Israel in Palestine, died here yesterday at the age of 82. He was buried several hours after his death so that funeral services would not be held during the Succoth holiday.
A native of Fakash, Hungary, Rabbi Dushinsky studied at the Yeshiva of Pressburg, in Bratislava, and served as spiritual leader of several congregations in Hungary prior to his departure for Palestine.
