Rabbi Joshua Liebman, of Temple Israel, LaFayette (Ind.) and graduate of Hebrew Union College, has been named rabbi of Anshe Mayriv Congregation here succeeding Rabbi Solomon B. Freehof, who was recently named to the pulpit of Rodef Shalom in Pittsburgh.
Rabbi Liebman spent a year in Palestine following graduation from HUC as winner of Leo W. Simon Memorial Fellowship.
