Rabbi Joshua L. Liebman, spiritual leader of the Temple Israel congregation in Boston, has declined an offer to lead the Temple Emanu-El congregation in New York, it was revealed here. Dr. Liebman, author of “Peace of Mind,” said that he preferred to remain in Boston and carry on his “rabbinical work in New England.”
