Rabbi Irving Koslowe, Jewish chaplain at Sing Prison and rabbi of the Westchester Jewish Center, was elected president of the American Correctional Chaplains Association at the annual Congress of Correction in Los Angeles. The Association includes Protestant, Catholic and Jewish chaplains serving in correctional institutions throughout the country.
Rabbi Koslowe is vice-president of the National Council of Jewish Correctional Chaplains and is editor of “Release”, the publication of the American Correctional Chaplains Association.
