Rabbi Lazaron Retires from Baltimore Hebrew Congregation; Accepts Emeritus Status

The Baltimore Hebrew Congregation has announced the retirement of Senior Rabbi Morris S. Lazaron and his appointment as Rabbi Emeritus. Rabbi Lazaron, who has been active in many Jewish causes, spent nearly 32 years as spiritual leader of the Congregation.

The Board of Electors of the Congregation voiced its regret at his decision to retire from active work and its satisfaction that he will continue to be associated with the Congregation in an emeritus status.
