SAMUEL LEVINGER, 20, SON OF RABBI LEE J. LEVINGER, OF COLUMBUS, O., WAS KILLED ON SEPT. 6 IN THE CAPTURE OF A VILLAGE ON THE ARAGON FRONT BY SPANISH LOYALISTS, WITH WHOM HE SERVED, IT WAS ANNOUNCED HERE TODAY BY THE FRIENDS OF THE ABRAHAM LINCOLN BATTALION. YOUNG LEVINGER HAD SERVED WITH THE LOYALISTS EIGHT MONTHS AS AN INFANTRYMAN. RABBI LEVINGER IS DIRECTOR OF THE RESEARCH BUREAU OF THE B’NAI B’RITH HILLEL FOUNDATION.
