Rabbi Joseph Lookstein of New York was re-elected president of the Rabbinical Council of America last night at the closing session of the Council’s annual convention. Other officers chosen for the coming year are: vice-presidents: Rabbis Albert Mandelbaum of New York, Israel Tabak of Baltimore, Isaiah Rackovsky of Omaha and M. Lederman of Denver. Dr. Lederman, who is president of the Rabbinical Association of the Hebrew Theological College in Chicago, became vice-president of the Council as a result of the merger of the two groups.
