The Neveller Gaon, Rabbi Raphael Cohen, who succeeded in leaving the Soviet Union, arrived in Riga today. The Gaon brought with him six hundred chosen volumes of his library, which the Soviet government permitted him to export after paying 2,600 rubles in duties.
