Rabbi Rosenblum Holds Sabbath Rites at Camp

Rabbi William F. Rosenblum of Temple Israel, New York City, conducted Sabbath services at Camp Ka-ren-ni-o-ke near here, summer music colony of Clarence Adler, New York pianist and instructor. Mrs. Jerome Frank, who was the soloist, also chanted the liturgy, while Boris Koutzen, violinist, played a pre-sermon solo and Mrs. Adler played the piano accompaniment. Rabbi Rosenblum spoke on “The Place of Beautiful Song,” the translation of the camp’s Iroquois name.

BOOK ON HASSIDIM

Rabbi Jacob S. Minkin announces the completion of a book on Hassidism which will be published shortly under the title, “The Romance of Hassidism.” The subject is treated from the biographical, historical and philosophical perspective.
