Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver of Cleveland will be the principal speaker at the state reception and banquet which will be held in honor of Professor Albert Einstein here this Sunday.
At the afternoon reception in the Newark Armory Rabbi Silver will speak about the scientist, while at the dinner in the Mosque Ballroom he will talk on the cause for which the celebration had been arranged, the settlement of German Jews in Palestine. Rabbi Silver is making a special trip to Newark for the occasion.
Among the distinguished artists who will appear in Professor Einstein’s honor will be Mine. Schumann-Heink, Ossip Gabrilowitch and Giovanni Martinelli.
