Rabbi Abram Simon, together with two other members, has been reappointed to the District Board of Education for a three year term by the District Supreme Court.
Rabbi Abram Simon who was the founder of the Synagogue Council of America and former president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, was first appointed to the Board of Education in 1919. He was elected president of the board in 1920 and was relected to this office for three successive years. At the expiration of his three year term in 1923 he declined a reappointment, but last January he was appointed to serve the unexpired term of Isaac Gans, who resigned.
