Rabbi Simon Shkop, noted Hebrew scholar of Grodno, Poland, has accepted the post of Professor of Talmud and Codes at the Yeshiva College, Dr. B. Revel, president of the faculty, announced.
Rabbi Moses Soloveitchik of Warsaw, dean of the Tachkmoni Yeshiva, who was called to the Yeshiva College as Professor of Talmud, is expected to arrive in April, Dr. Revel stated.
