The South Side Hebrew Congregation has announced that Rabbi Morris Teller has been unanimously elected to head the congregation. The installation will take place on Sunday, September 10.
Rabbi Teller is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. His first pulpit was at Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is now president of the Chicago Allied Jewish School Board.
