Members of Minnesota Lodge No. 157, B’nai B’rith, were warned at their annual banquet by Dr. George Fox, Chicago rabbi, that the Jews of America may find themselves confronted with a situation similar to that faced by the Jews in Germany unless immediate steps are taken to combat the spread of anti-Semitism.
Enumerating nine organinations which are distinctly anti-Semitic in character, Dr. Fox said that the Jews of America can escape the fate of the German Jews by becoming conscious as a Jew with a firm belief in his right ot live, and by waging a campaign to win over the average American to the righteousness and justice of the Jewish cause.
