Rabbi Jacob M. Alkow, of Temple Emanuel, this city, will deliver the baccalaureate sermon at the San Bernardino College commencement exercises. It is believed the first time in the history of Southern California outside of Los Angeles, that a rabbi has been so honored. The student body of the college is nondenominational but the institution is supported by a Protestant religious body.
