Rabbi Syl Wolf, oldest rabbi in Switzerland, died at La Chaux de Fonds yesterday. He was 93. A former professor at the University of Neuchatel, Rabbi Wolf was spiritual leader of the La Chaux de Fonds community for almost 70 years. All local newspapers carried the news of his death and editorial comments mourning it.
