All foreign consuls in Egypt will be instructed to treat the decisions of the rabbinical courts in Egypt just as they treat the decisions of the state courts. A promise to this effect was given by the Egyptian foreign minister during an audience with Chief Rabbi Haim Nachum Effendi.
