A ten-member Rabbinical Council of America delegation left for Israel today in what was described as the “first modern attempt to revive the ancient pilgrimage to Jerusalem.” A group of 25 laymen accompanied the rabbis. The trip is under the joint sponsorship of the Council and Hapoel Hamizrachi of America. Dr. Israel Tabak, president of the Council, is head of the delegation.
