Felix M. Warburg, national chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, today called on rabbis of the country to urge congregants on the forthcoming High Holidays to support the Appeal’s $3,250,000 drive for relief of the Jews in Germany and other countries.
“We Jews,” said Mr. Warburg in a statement, “would be untrue to our past and faithless to our future if we could not at this time give new evidence of our loyalty to each other and of our willingness to share the common burden.”
