A conference of leading Palestinian rabbis, members of the Mizrachi, orthodox Zionists, and General Zionists, which met here today in response to a call issued by the Chief Rabbi of Palestine, A. I. HaCohen Kook, determined to take a hand in the Arlosoroff murde trial.
The conference decided to issue an appeal for the collection of funds with which to strengthen the defense of the accused men. A resolution was also adopted calling for the proclamation of a general fast day during which prayers were to be said for the accused men in the hope that the judges may find them not guilty.
