More than 200 rabbis from all over the country are expected to participate in the annual convention of the Central Conference of American Rabbis opening here tomorrow.
The president’s message will be delivered by Dr. Samuel H. Goldenson of Temple Emanu-El, New York.
The Commission on Jewish Education met today at the Congress Hotel, presided over by Rabbi David Philipson of Cincinnati. The Commission has prepared a report which will be delivered at Friday’s session of the Central Conference convention.
While details of the report are being withheld, an announcement was made by Dr. Philipson that the appointment of a director of youth activities will be reported to the conference.
