Maj. Gen. Yitzhak Rabin, Israel’s Ambassador to the United States and the former Chief of Staff of its armed forces, told a mass rally yesterday that Israel’s Army would not withdraw from the occupied Arab territories for “10, 20, 50 or even 100 years without a real peace.” Ambassador Rabin expressed optimism about the talks between President Richard M. Nixon and Israel’s Foreign Minister Abba Eban in Washington last Friday at which he was present. While in Brazil, Gen. Rabin will meet with Jewish community and student leaders here and in Sao Paulo. He will visit Uruguay and Argentina.
