Radio connections between Poland and Palestine were established today. The new connection has been made by way of an intermediary radio station in Beirut.
At the ceremonies which were held to mark the occasion, it was pointed out that the radio connection between the two countries will bring about increased economic intercourse.
The Polish Consul in Jerusalem, Zbyszewski, has communicated with the Polish Chamber of Commerce regarding the question of the economic relations between Poland and Palestine. He replied especially to an inquiry on the part of the Chamber regarding the present economic situation in Palestine, it was stated here.
