The B’nai B’rith lodge here passed a resolution advocating the passage of the Rafferty bill now before the State Assembly.

The bill seeks to curb public condemnation of races and give equal recourse to law to a race as to an individual in cases of libel.

Copies of the resolution will be sent to County Assemblymen and State Senator Barbour.
