Raids on Foreign Jews in Marseille Renewed; More Firms Seized

Raids on foreign Jews have been renewed in Marseille and a number of them have been sent into the provinces, it was reported here today.

Among those released after brief detention are the writer, Poliskov Litoutzev, and the painter, Marc Chagall. Chagall intends to proceed to the United States shortly.

Meanwhile, a new list of 308 expropriated Jewish enterprises was published in the Official Journal, making the total to date 2,118.
