A rally and meeting will be held tonight at 8 o’clock at Ocean Parkway Jewish Center, 550 Ocean Ocean Parkway, Brooklyn, under the auspices of the United States Maccabi Association, Inc., as part of a drive to enlist the support of all organizations in Greater New York toward gathering a team to take part in the 1935 Jewish Athletic Games in Tel Aviv, Palestine.
Moving pictures of the first Maccabiad will be shown and several members of the first team will be introduced to the audience. Speakers will include Morris Weiner, sports editor of the Jewish Daily Bulletin, Benjamin Lamber, former Metropolitan high hurdle champion, and David White, executive secretary of the Maccabi association.
