Ramsay Macdonald Sends Greetings to Bernstein

Prime Minister Ramsay MacDonald of Great Britain has sent a telegram to Eduard Bernstein, German-Jewish socialist leader, congratulating him upon attaining his eightieth birthday. “I hope that you will spend many more years in well-earned happiness,” writes MacDonald. “Your many old friends here remember you with love.”

Bernstein has received congratulatory telegrams from the Labor Party and from Socialist leaders from all parts of the world.
