The reburial of the remains of Dr. Theodor Herzl in Jerusalem was celebrated yesterday at solemn services at the Israeli consulate general here.
Dr. Mordecai Eliash, Israeli Minister to Britain, who presided over the services, recited Kaddish and spoke of the contribution of the founder of modern Zionism to the realization of the 2,000-year-old dream of the Jewish people. The Israeli flag was formally lowered and raised again during the services.
At the same time, the Zionist Federation of Great Britain, announced that “Herzl Week” will begin Oct, 29. During the week public meeting will be held throughout the country.
