Recruiting for the Palestine Transjordania frontier force will be reopened. The recruiting is to take place only in Transjordania.
The formation of the Palestine Transjordania frontier force gave rise to sharp criticism of the Palestine administration, in view of a clause in the ordinance excluding Jews from the force. The ordinance was later modified and it was stated that recruiting for the force was closed, with the result that only 28 Jews were enlisted.
