Red Cross Returns Letters Sent to Jews in Warsaw Ghetto

Many letters sent by Palestine Jews to relatives in the Warsaw ghetto through the International Red Cross, today were returned with an inscription reading “Not Delivered; Addressee Could Not Be Traced.”

The activities of Dr. Chaim Weizmann and Moshe Shertok in the United States in connection with proposals to transfer Jews from Europe to Palestine as well as other problems concerning Palestine are being watched here with intense interest, especially since the arrival of Anthony Eden, British Foreign Secretary, in Washington. It was revealed here today that the executive of the Jewish Agency is considering holding weekly sessions in connection with the activities of the leaders of the Agency in America.
