Red Cross Supplies on Way to Cracow from Genoa

Large quantities of medicines, shoes, clothing, blankets, sheeting and surgical dressings shipped on the Vulcania by the American Red Cross for the relief of sick and wounded in German-occupied Poland have arrived in Genoa, Italy, and are now en route to Cracow, according to cabled advices received here today. Additional supplies on other ships are believed to have cleared the blockade and will be landed in Italian ports this week, the advices stated.

James T. Nicholson, of the American Red Cross mission in Europe, arrived in Berlin today where he will allocate the supplies from a Cracow warehouse in conjunction with the German Red Cross. The material will be distributed through the Polish Red Cross and other existing welfare agencies, including Jewish groups.
