In a drive to counteract the strong influence of the Zionist movement in Russian-occupied Poland, Soviet Jewish newspapers are continuing with increased intensity their attack on Zionists as “agents of British imperialism.”

The newspaper Stern holds “the City of London and the English bourgeoisie” responsible for the recent Palestine disorders and quotes the ultra-anti-Semitic Italian newspaper II Tever’s allegations that the Zionists are “merely agents of these British imperialist forces.”

Stern ridicules the “lackey-like loyalty of the Zionist ring-leaders” for pledging aid to Britain after outbreak of the war despite the “insults heaped upon them by their bosses” and the restrictions on Jewish immigration to Palestine.
