A synagogue for deaf Jews, Temple Beth Solomon, believed to be the first of its kind, was dedicated yesterday in Arista, a suburb of Los Angeles. Founded six years ago by the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, the congregation was named for Rabbi Solomon F. Kleinman, former UAHC regional director and now rabbi of the new Liberal Synagogue of Encino.
