The Juedische Rundschau, Zionist organ, today addressed a special appeal to the countries represented on the Intergovernmental Refugee Committee in London to help Jewish physicians emigrate from the Reich. The appeal was made in view of the decree that all Jewish doctors must stop practicing in Germany after Sept. 30, when their licenses become invalid.

“We are convinced that Jewish doctors coming from Germany will be ready to put themselves to work if they are given the opportunity in foreign countries,” the newspaper said. “We hesitate to think what will become of thousands of families if this appeal to humanity is not heard and if the gates are rigorously closed.”
