Refugees Swell Army Ranks in Illinois

Officers at Camp Grant, Illinois, declared today an amazing number of refugees were swelling the ranks of the army.

Among the refugees to enlist recently were the twin brothers, Maximilian and David store. Between 1935 and 1938 they served in the Rumanian army and were mobilized twice. They fled during the Rumanian anti-Jewish excesses.
