“The refusal of the United States to sell defensive arms to Israel while Britain continues to arm the Arabs is an open invitation to the Arab nations to once again attack Israel and plunge the Middle East into a new conflagration,” Mrs. Samuel W. Halprin, national president of Hadassah, said here today. Mrs. Halprin, who returned Monday from Israel where she attended the recent Zionist Actions Committee session in Jorusalem, made her first public report to nearly 600 national board members and metropolitan chapter leaders at a luncheon given in her honor.
