Federal Judge Ernest A. O’Brien informed the Michigan correspondent of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that the decision of the three judges on the alien registration bill will not be made public until after his return from a trip to Europe.
Judge O’Brien, who issued the restraining order against the enforcement of the registration bill, and who sat at the hearing with Judge Arthur C. Denison of the District Court of Appeals of Cincinnati and with his Detroit colleague. Federal Judge Charles C. Simons, is leaving for Europe on Friday.
It is now certain that no decision on the bill will be out until the latter part of August.
