Regular Passenger Flights Between Israel and Germany Set Up; 20 Planes to Be Used

Regular passenger air service between Munich and Lydia, Palestine, entailing about 20 flights a month, has been establish here by Israeli Government representative Dr. Chaim Hoffman. The first two air transports left Munich this week, each carrying 45 passengers. The second flight left the Munich-Riem airport yesterday and word its arrival at Lydda airport today has been received. The planes are scheduled to stop at Geneva and Athens. The American Great Circle Company will put 20 planes at the disposal of the Israeli mission in the U.S. zone of Germany. Each passenger is allowed to take 60 pounds of baggage with him, while 200 pounds may be sent by sea.
