An “Aryan” woman today lost a court suit to force her father to give her a promised dowry which he was withholding because she married a Jew.
Although the woman had wed three years ago, before the Nazis came into power, the local court upheld the father, ruling that although the law against mixed marriages has not yet been proclaimed, an “Aryan” woman in marrying a Jew violates the racial principles of the Third Reich.
