Agricultural Minister Richard Walther Darre, attacking democratic countries as “essentially Jewish,” declared yesterday that “Germany, Japan and Italy are the only countries able to check the Jews and Bolshevism.”
In a two-hour broadcast address on the fourth annual Peasants’ Day, he denounced the Jews as “pests, parasites and nomads.” He said that liberal and democratic governments were “Jewish conceptions.”
He advised the peasants:
“Blood purity is most essential for the German peasant, who should not deal with the Jew even if it is a personal loss. Peasants will be separated from the Jews like fire from water. Jews are leeches on a healthy body.
“It is as natural for the Bolshevik Jews to destroy Soviet peasantry as for the Nazis to issue the Nuremberg laws. The supremacy of the Jewish God is established in Russia. Bolshevism is only the expression of Judaism.”
Warning the farmers not to support democracy, he said, “Either stand behind Hitler or deliver yourself to the Jews, which means destruction.
