Local authorities were told today not to interfere with Jews in commerce until Reichefuehrer Hitler announces a decision on the position of the Jews in the business life of Germany.
The extension of the Nuremberg race laws to the commercial field is “something which the Fuehrer still has up his sleeve,” declared Herr Posse of the Ministry of Economics, addressing a trade and industrial group.
He emphasized that as long as Hitler holds a decision in abeyance, “no invasion should be made by local authorities.”
He declared that the Nazis do not intend to modify their attitude toward the Jews, adding that their final aim was not promoted by unnecessary measures against the Jews in commerce.
