Reliable reports today stated that the German authorities, because of a shortage of medical staff, have decided to mobilize Jewish physicians and have introduced a special uniform for them. The uniform is said to be the same as that of a German Army doctor, with a special inscription “Juedischer Arzt” (Jewish physician) on the stripes which signify rank.

At the same time, it was reported from Bohemia-Moravia that despite the Nazi ultimatum to Jews to emigrate by Feb. 1, nurses and chemists were being prevented from leaving.
