The movement completely to disfranchise Jews in Germany gained further impetus today, when the Deutschreichsan-zeiger published its latest list of Jews who are deprived of German citizenship.
Twenty-five names of German-born Jews are contained in the list. In addition a large number of Jews are listed who were born in other countries but had become naturalized German citizens before the present regime came to power.
RULING ON LAWYERS
The total elimination of even the few Jewish attorneys who were still permitted to practice in Germany is decreed today by the Labor Court at Magdenburg. The court ruled that while the practice of law involves the consideration of the race of both the attorney and the client, and that therefore a limited number of Jews had been permitted to continue defending Jewish clients, this was only a temporary expedient.
The court declared that the time has come to call a halt. Jewish litigants will therefore not be allowed to employ Jewish barristers in the future, the court ordered, adding that otherwise there would always be a certain number of Jew-
