The bill asking for the confiscation of the property of East European Jews in Germany was defeated today by an overwhelming majority in the Reichstag.
The bill was introduced by the Nationalistic Anti-Semitic Party of the Voelkische. Even Nationalistic leaders like Count Westarp voted against the bill. Only a few Nationalists and Communists voted for it.
