“The Reign of Terror in Germany today is a terror aimed against all the opponents of national Socialism,” declared Prince Max Carl zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg.
“However, among foreign people, the persecution of Jews at least has received proper attention, but not so the cruelties suffered by the anti-Nazi Germans which are deeper than the Hitlerites’ vulgar Jew-bating.
“Jews in all countries have felt deeply over the persecution of their blood-brothers. The American, English and French Jew exerts his best efforts to help his kind. But there is no international organization of oppressed Germans an such. That is why the plight of the persecuted Germans of Teutonic blood is all the more pitiful. German exiles cannot build organizations to further their propaganda, because these exiles are too poor in pocket for such efforts. “There are hundreds of thousands of Germans like himself who detest Hitlerism because it is anti-German, because we feel that the Nazis are the betrayers of the true Germans.
“Liberty-loving people of all countries must be acquainted with the fact that their ideals and ways of life are threatened by the Nazis. In this way an international anti-Nazi solidarity can be developed.
“Germany is living under the pressure of a Hand of Death. Its inhabitants are suffering a relentless stifling of their humanity. It is this, next to anti-Semitism, which must be called to the attention of foreign nations.”
