Relations between the European Union and Israel are good, the E.U.’s foreign policy chief said. In Rome this week after visits to Egypt and Israel, Javier Solana said Israel “was not pleased by” the E.U.’s unanimous support of the recent U.N. resolution against the West Bank security barrier. But, he told reporters, “at the end of two days of talks, I realized that our relations will continue to be normal, despite this important disagreement.”
