A Foreign Ministry spokesman said today that Israel has sensed no change in its relations with West Germany recently and expects no change to occur. The spokesman was reacting to a statement by West German Foreign Minister Walter Scheel that no “special relationship” exists between Bonn and Jerusalem. Scheel made the statement in an interview published last week in the official publication “Germany Reports.” The Foreign Ministry spokesman said Jerusalem saw no cause for concern over the statement.
